We are excited to offer the Nursing and Engineering Fellowship Program for undergraduate nursing and engineering students. The Nursing and Engineering Fellowship Program is an interdisciplinary opportunity for students to work in teams and ideate, create, develop, and advance evidence-based healthcare technology innovations that address a pervasive unmet need in equitable healthcare quality. The fellowship is designed to foster creativity and collaboration and to develop entrepreneurial and innovative thinking over an academic year.
NurseEng Innovation Fellows will collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to address a healthcare challenge in need of a technological solution. The Fellowship is designed to foster creativity and collaboration and to develop entrepreneurial and innovative thinking over an academic year. With the support of mentors of the program, the NurseEng Innovation Fellows will identify and investigate a healthcare problem and work as a team to develop a prototype solution in response.
Teams can apply for seed funding to support prototype development and will present their solution at the end of the Fellowship year.
Upon successful completion of the NurEng Innovation Fellowship and requirements, Fellows will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the Fellowship year.
